Traveling by Car
  • From Manhattan: Take Midtown Tunnel to Long Island Expressway East, to Van Wyck Expressway South, Exit #3 Linden Blvd. Turn right on Linden and follow signs to track.
  • From Queens:  Take Grand Central Parkway to Van Wyck to Linden Blvd. and follow signs.
  • From Brooklyn: Take Belt Parkway to Exit 19.
  • From Long Island: Take Belt Parkway to Lefferts Blvd. Exit 18-B and follow signs.
  • From Staten Island And South New Jersey: Verrazano Bridge to Belt Parkway eastbound, Exit 19 and follow signs.
  • From Connecticut and Westchester: Any route to Whitestone Bridge. Take Whitestone Expressway to Van Wyck Expressway to Exit 3, Linden Blvd.
  • From North New Jersey: George Washington Bridge to Cross Bronx Expressway, to Throgs Neck Bridge to Cross Island Parkway South to Belt Parkway westbound, Exit 18-B and follow signs.

Local Bus Service

  • Q-11 from Woodhaven and Queens Blvd.
  • Q-7 From Euclid Ave.
  • Q-37 From Union Tpke. - Kew Gardens
  • Q-41 from N.Y. Blvd. and Archer and Ashford St. in Brooklyn.

  • From Brooklyn: Belt Parkway, East to Cross Island Parkway, North to Exit 26-D, or Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to Long Island Expressway, East to Cross Island Parkway, South to Exit 26-D.
  • From Queens: Grand Central Parkway, East to Cross Island Parkway, South to Exit 26-D or Belt Parkway, East to Cross Island Parkway, North to Exit 26-D.
  • From Staten Island: Verrazano Bridge to Belt Parkway, East to Cross Island Parkway, North to Exit 26-D.
  • From Long Island: Northern State Parkway or Long Island Expressway, West to Cross Island Parkway, South to exit 26-D or Southern State Parkway, West to Cross Island Parkway, North to Exit 26-D.
  • From New Jersey: (North): George Washington Bridge to Cross Bronx Expressway, to Throgs Neck Bridge to Cross Island Parkway, South to Exit 26-D. (South): Any Interstate bridge to Staten Island Expressway to Verrazano Bridge to Belt Parkway, East to Cross Island Parkway, North to Exit 26-D.
  • From Connecticut and Westchester: Any route to Throgs Neck Bridge to Cross Island Parkway, South to Exit 26-D.

Local Bus Service

  • N6 (MTA Long Island Bus): Operates along Hempstead Turnpike, West Hempstead, Franklin Square, Elmont, Hollis and Jamaica. From Jamaica, the bus starts at Jamaica Bus Terminal (165th Street & 89th Avenue) and runs along Hillside Avenue to Francis Lewis Blvd. to Hempstead Ave. Stops in front of Belmont Park. Connections: Transfer from the F Train at either 169th Street or 179th Street stations.
  • Q110 (MTA Bus): Service provided every 20 minutes to and from Belmont during racing days. Buses are available at Parsons Blvd. and Hillside Avenue and from Parsons Blvd. & Archer Ave., and various locations eastbound on Jamaica Avenue and Hempstead Avenue in Queens. These buses pick up and discharge directly outside the admission booths at the west end of the track. Connections: Transfer from F Train at Parsons & Hillside; Transfer from E Train at Parsons & Archer.
  • Q2 (MTA Bus): Originates at the Jamaica Bus Terminal (165th Street & 89th Ave.) and runs along Hillside Ave. to 187th Place to Hollis Ave. and ends at Hempstead Ave. and 225th Street adjacent to Belmont Park. Connections: Transfer from F Train at 169th Street or 179th Street stations.

By Subway

  • Take the F train to 169th street or 179th street then take the N6 or the Q2 bus to Belmont or take the E train to Jamaica Center (Parsons Blvd.) and then take the Q110 bus to Belmont.

By Railroad

  • The “Belmont Special” will run to and from Belmont Park every day of the upcoming meet and includes earlier arrival times.

Traveling by Car

  • From New York Metropolitan Area: New York Thruway (I-87) to Exit 24 at Albany, then the Northway (I-87) to Exit 14. West on NY Route 9P, just outside the track gates. The track can also be reached by an alternate route, leaving the Northway at Exit 13N - US Route 9.
  • From Western New York: New York Thruway (I-90) to Exit 28 at Fultonville (Route 30A), to Johnstown and Route 29E to Saratoga Springs; or New York Thruway to Exit 27 at Amsterdam, Route 67E to Ballston Spa and Route 50 to Saratoga Springs.
  • From Upstate and Canada: Northway (I-87) to Exit 14 to Saratoga Springs.
  • From Massachusetts and Connecticut: Mass: Turnpike to NY Thruway (I-90), north to Exit 24 (Albany), then Northway (I-87) to Exit 14.
  • From Vermont and New Hampshire: Route 40 to Schuyerville and Route 29 to Saratoga Springs.

By Bus

  • Adirondack Trailways will provide bus service to and from Saratoga Race Course. Call (800) 858-8555 for fares and schedules.

By Railroad

  • AMTRAK provides service to Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
